We have chosen some of last year’s favorite items to offer each week as “to go” meals. You may grab a handy prepared meal, or buy items by the pound from the deli/salad cases.

The foods we offer regularly are:
Cape Cod Meatloaf- Remember mom’s meatloaf? We have an equally (or better-depending on your mom) good version with our own Cape Cod cranberry glaze. It is prepared in an large individual serving.
Our famous Crab Cake– The sweet and succulent crab is perfect for a crispy cake. Ours is full of crab chunks and just the right amount of crab spice.
Vegetarian Lasagna- A large serving of layered vegetables, cheese and pasta. If you are a vegetarian, you’ll love our no meat version of lasagna
Grilled Salmon- Each week we prepare a grilled salmon with a special glaze. This week we have a sweet tangy mustard glaze.
In addition we have many side dishes such as roasted potatoes, grilled polenta, roasted vegetables, roasted asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, sauteed spinach and any of our special salads.
This week we move to the Middle East and celebrate the foods of the country of Israel (to read about Sam’s adventure in Israel, click here) and the United States region of our Great Northwest.

From the country of Israel we have chosen three meals with traditional Israeli flavors.
Lamb Shashlik Chunks of lamb, marinated in lemon and olive oil, rotisserie roasted and skewered with vegetables. This is just like you would find on the streets of Haifa or restaurants of Tel Aviv in Israel.
Israeli Sweet and Spiced Chicken A special family dinner meal of chicken breasts, cooked in a casserole with onions, orange juice, honey, black olives and sweet, pungent spices of the Middle East.
Falafel The popular and Middle East flavored chick pea and bulgar wheat fritters, perfect as a vegetarian entree or on a salad or sandwich.

A region of the United States that indeed has its own flavors. The states of Washington and Oregon are most identified as our Great Northwest.
From the Northwest we bring these two entrees:
West Coast Cod and Shrimp A rich seafood dish from a Oregon coast recipe. Fresh Cod (this from New England-probably better than they get in Oregon) and succulent shrimp with mushrooms and dill in a creamy, parmesan flavored sauce. Serve on a fluffy long grain white rice.
Washington State Cherry Sweet and Sour Pork A roasted pork in a sweet and sour sauce, with the added excitement of ripe sweet cherries. The wet and mild climate of Washington State is great for growing fruit.
Curried Oregon Chicken w/ Apple Slices and Cashews This is an amazing dish from the chicken growers of Oregon. (We’ll use our own chickens and borrow their recipe) The lightly browned chicken breasts are added to a casserole of orzo, apples, onions, and roasted cashews. The creamy curry sauce with cilantro adds the spectacular flavors that Asians settling on our West Coast have inspired.
