Directions to Sam Cooks :
From all points off Cape and Orleans: On Route 6 after the Orleans Rotary, traveling north on the forearm of Cape Cod, pass through Eastham and North Eastham. After the Wellfleet Drive In you will come to a traffic light at the entrance to Marconi Beach of the National Seashore. Watch your odometer (and the road) and drive 2 ½ miles ahead. (Don’t neglect to notice beautiful Black Fish Creek on your left in South Wellfleet.) Turn left in the large parking area just past the Wellfleet Post Office and the new W.H.A.T. Theater and you will find Sam Cooks .
From Provincetown and Truro: Traveling south from Truro, on the forearm of the Cape on Route 6, watch the odometer (and the road) after you pass the final traffic light that turns off to the Wellfleet Center and the harbor. When you have driven one-half mile you will see Sam Cooks on the right at the corner of Cove Road and Route 6. The Wellfleet Post Office and the new W.H.A.T. theater are also there. STOP! and come in.
